Meet Our Coaches

Stacey Allen

Senior Veteran Coach Stacey Allen

Stacey served in the U.S. Army from 1987-1993 in various medical capacities. He deployed to Southwest Asia from 1990-1991 in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. After his enlistment was complete, he remained in the medical field, earned his MBA in Healthcare Management, and retired in 2019 from federal service as a healthcare administrator.

John Trimnble

Senior Veteran Coach John Trimble

John is a 100% P&T disabled American Veteran of the US Army Paratroopers, enlisting when he was 18 years old. After his service, he went on to college, earning degrees in 2000, 2003 and finally his PhD in Psychology in 2004. He has been practicing in the mental health field for over 20 years and recently retired to devote all of his time to help veterans in his current position here at VACI.

Horace Thompson

Veteran Coach Horace Thompson

Horace joined the army not long after high school and served 4 years, 1982-1986. He did not want his family to pay for college, so he took the opportunity to serve and receive financial assistance. He spent two years in Erlangen, W Germany and loved it; the military, not so much. After he returned home, he finished the last year and half at Fort Hood, TX.

Stacey Allen

Veteran Coach Jeremy Cole

Jeremy is a recently retired Army Combat Engineer after having served for almost 24 years. He was deployed five times, and graduated from Ranger, Sapper, Pathfinder, Airborne and Air Assault school while in service. He’s currently rated 100% P&T and chose to work at VACI so he could help other veterans get the benefits they deserve.
